Our Honeymoon...
Words can't even begin to describe what our honeymoon was like! Being in Fiji -
the other side of the world was a dream come true for us.
The trip there was long and we were thrilled that we had stopped in Las Vegas first!
Who wouldn't have fun in Vegas! (And not G-Vegas for those ECU fans out there.)
Mandalay Bay was incredible and they also provided us with tickets for Lion King
while we were there! It was just breathtaking and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Then, on to Fiji. The trip there was long and it was the first time I had travelled so
long since the accident so there were lots of accommodations we made but with my
HUSBAND by my side, everything was ok.
Every day that we were in Fiji, Chris and I just looked at each other in disbelief -
taking in every moment. The water was just so incredibly clear. The beach literally
went on for days and stretched as far as we could see.......and the resort......you
just HAVE TO GO!
One thing that has really left an impression on us is the people. The people of Fiji
are absolutely some of the most warm and welcoming people we've ever met. They
instantly made us feel at home and we just loved being around them and getting to
know them. When we left, we felt that we left new friends behind.
